| CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. 2013 is our 12th CSA season but we have been successfully farming for many generations. We are local farmers working together to find a new future in agriculture by diversifying our farms. Through the CSA we have expanded our own gardens to provide fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables, and flowers to our neighbors in the Louisville area. Our farms are located in Trimble and Oldham counties. Our goal is to create and sustain a small, seasonal, local food economy. Our 2013 subscription fee is $650.00, which is for 25 weeks. After the start call for a pro-rated price. For 25 weeks, May through October, we deliver every Wednesday from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the location you choose on our home page. Also delivering to our Saturday Farmers Markets at LaGrange Farmers Market on the Courthouse Square or Beargrass Christian Church Farmers Market. We pride ourselves on getting to know our members. This personal service hopefully gives consumers the assured knowledge of where some of their purchased food comes from. Visit us at one of our locations on Wednesday to meet the farmers and to see our Family Farm Project CSA in action. Beef is available to purchase every spring - call Laraine Staples 502/255-3238 - Beef forms available on this site under Farmers then Staples Beef. CSA requires a big commitment from members and growers. Pre-paying for your subscription fee shows your support of our farmers who commitment to plan and plant consecutively to deliver to you the best variety of high quality produce we can grow here in Kentucky.
